Inspired by the works of American playwright Tennessee Williams, Diana Brown and Jerry Ruoti improvise a slice of life replete with the lyrical, poetic language Williams is known for. Celebrating the beauty, fragility and humor of the human condition.
On the way home from Camp Improv Utopia West, Diana and Jerry decided it would be grand to perform as a duo. Later after finding themselves in a class on improvising in the style Tennessee Willams taught by Rebecca Stockley, they decided that would be their duo's genre.
Jerry is a company member with BATS Improv in San Francisco. He also performs with Wine and Weasels. Jerry teaches with BATS in San Francisco. Diana is a guest teaching artist with BATS Improv, she also performs with the duo Bingewatch and the trio Gamesome Frolic. Jerry also performs with Wine & Weasels. Diana leads the improv program at Berkeley Repertory Theatre's School of Theatre. And the improvised Shakespeare program at All Out Comedy. Fleeting Reminiscence has performed at the Countdown Improv Festival 2024 & 2025, Orange County Improv Festival 2025, Leela Theatre San Francisco. Diana was an instructor for the 2025 Rise Comedy Summer Improv Intensive. Both Diana and Jerry have appeared at the Rise Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, SAVI Fest, San Francisco Improv Festival and San Francisco Sketchfest. Music Director Liz Baker wears many performative hats, and loves doing improv! She has participated as a Musical Director, composer, writer, and stage director for various theatrical companies and productions including BATS, Unscripted, Countdown Improv Festival, SF Fringe, SF Olympians, The Oracle, and The Great Charles Dickens Faire. Liz is currently a co-instructor for musical improv classes at Leela SF, and a variety of adult and youth classes at BATS, and is very excited for her first year at SAVI!
