FILM CRITIC:
Bringing a little bit of Hollywood to Arizona!
What to expect:
Join Rollin' in Riches as we go to the movies, where a pair of "critics" tell the audience about their theater-going experience and where we show the audience scenes from the movie.
This form will give improvisers the opportunity to play both in scenes and as the "hosts".
We'll work on characters, reviewing physicality, voice and point of view. We'll also focus on Peas in a Pod, for those times you want to infuse the hosts with an added jolt of pizzazz!
Scenework will be a mix of premise-based and "organic" scenes and we'll be reviewing underlying principles of each.
So, grab some Red Vines or Twizzlers (no need to fight over which is best!) and join us before the previews start!
What to bring with you:
Whatever pop culture knowledge you have and an attitude of supporting each other and making each other look good!
"The stuff that dreams are made of." -Sam Spade (Maltese Falcon)

Rollin’ In Riches (Rolland Lopez & Rich Baker) recently celebrated eleven years of having fun on stage together. In that time, they’ve appeared at thirty improv and comedy festivals (headlining five times), taught workshops and performed in fourteen states, won the iO West Doubles Tournament, and had several runs at Los Angeles theaters like The Westside Comedy Theater and Acme Comedy NoHo. They also love to perform for charities, companies, and organizations such as Smiles for Veterans, the Fitness Business Summit, and the Aquarium of the Pacific. They are two goofballs that bring the funny.
